Hydrox® Calcium Hydroxide Cavity Liner is a rigid, self-setting cavity liner and pulp capping agent. Hydrox® Calcium Hydroxide Cavity Liner eliminates all chemical and thermal sensitivity by sealing dentinal tubules and protecting the pulp. It also serves as a protective barrier that insulates the dentin and pulp from acid-containing cements and restorative materials. Hydrox® Calcium Hydroxide Cavity Liner works well under glass ionomers and will not affect the amalgam or the polymerization of composites. The superior flowability of Hydrox® Calcium Hydroxide Cavity Liner permits uniform coverage and controlled placement into the preparation.

Standard Kit contains:
– 15g Base
– 13g Catalyst
– 1 Mixing Pad

6 Pack Kit contains:
– 6 15g Base
– 6 13g Catalyst
– 4 Mixing Pads

Hydrox® can be sealed with Bosworth’s resin cement or Gorilla Seal to reduce leakage and future caries.

Hydrox® can also be used as a temporary cement. Hydrox®’s high pH level acts to inhibit bacterial growth at the cavity wall. This property is particularly important for the treatment of teeth with complicated crown fractures, open apices, and root perforations.

Avoid storing tubes near mercury.

Refrigerate Hydrox to achieve maximum shelf-life (3 years). Return Hydrox to room temperature before use.
