Open-Closed Coil, or Distalizing, springs are specialized springs used to distalize molars. The springs are compressed when loaded and exert forces against the molars to tip or move them in the proper direction. With no headgear or lip bumpers, the Nickel Titanium Molar Distalizing Springs are a great alternative for non-compliant patients! The gentle, constant force moves molars with ease.
