Access™ Orthodontic Cheek Retractor is a reusable dental retractor designed to hold the cheeks away from the buccal and labial tooth surfaces during orthodontic procedures. Its posterior retraction pads provide improved access to the premolar and molar regions while helping maintain a clear working field.

The retractor combines durable plastic cheek pads with a spring stainless steel bow. Pivoting connection points and adjustable bow tension allow the clinician to modify the fit for improved patient comfort and reliable cheek retraction.

Access™ separates into three components for easier cleaning and reprocessing. It is available in Adult and Child sizes, allowing the appropriate configuration to be selected for different patients.

Product Specifications

Cleaning and Sterilization

Separate the retractor into its three components before cleaning. The device may be sterilized in an autoclave or with dry heat according to the manufacturer’s current Instructions for Use.

When using a dry heat sterilizer, place the retractor or its components on top of other instruments rather than underneath them. Do not place other instruments directly on top of the retractor during processing.

Tension Adjustment

The stainless steel bow is supplied with tension suitable for most patients. To reduce tension, remove the plastic retractors and gently adjust the bow so the ends move closer together. The opposite adjustment increases tension.
