The Renew System #118S Orthodontic Finishing Bur is designed for controlled removal of bulk composite adhesive after bracket debonding. Its 18-fluted carbide construction provides efficient cutting and smooth finishing while helping clinicians clean residual bonding material from treated surfaces.
The #118S configuration features a shorter shank and cutting surface for improved access and control during orthodontic adhesive cleanup. It is part of the Renew Finishing System and is suitable for finishing enamel, porcelain, metal, and composite surfaces according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
