Safco lead-free x-ray aprons provide the protection equivalent to lead but are 25% lighter and don’t pose the same disposal problems as standard leaded aprons. Attached fabric straps allow hanging from standard apron hangers. The lead equivalency of Safco’s Lead-Free aprons are .25mm, and comply with all lead-free requirements set forth by the NCRP (National Council on Radiation Protection)
