The 3/16″ pad rests on the occlusal of the molar and the non-padded remover tip catches the edge of the band for upward or downward removal. Replacement pads available.

Cutting instruments and wire benders are guaranteed for seven years and utility pliers for ten years. This covers breakage and joint failure under normal use. Sharpening cutters and/or repairing minor tip damage is not covered by warranty as this is considered to be routine maintenance for normal use.
